The Mission of New England Resistance: What You Can Do Right Now

New England Resistance is more than a name—it’s a call to action. We are here to protect human rights, defend democracy, and push forward when others try to drag us back. Through activism, education, and unapologetic resistance, we amplify voices that need to be heard and stand up for those under attack. The time to fight is now. The time to build is always.

Rebellion is a New England tradition, and we’re here to carry that legacy forward. The fight for justice, equality, and human rights isn’t new—but the urgency has never been greater. We are standing against the forces trying to strip away freedoms, silence voices, and drag us backward. We are unapologetic, relentless, and committed to building a future that belongs to all of us. But resistance isn’t just about what we believe—it’s about what we do.

How You Can Take Action Right Now

This isn’t just about watching and getting angry. It’s about doing something. Here are real, tangible ways to fight back starting today:

1. Call Your Representatives

Your voice matters more than you think. Flood their offices. Make them feel the pressure. Even if your rep doesn’t align with your values, they need to know people are watching. 📞 Find your rep: https://www.usa.gov/elected-officials or whoismyrepresentative.com

📢 Script to use:
“Hi, my name is [Your Name], and I’m a constituent from [Your City/State]. I’m calling because I’m deeply concerned about [issue: abortion bans, attacks on LGBTQ+ rights, voter suppression, etc.]. I urge [Representative’s Name] to take a stand and protect our rights. We’re watching, and we vote.”

2. Show Up & Protest

Resistance is visible. Find protests, marches, and rallies in your area. If there aren’t any, start one. Whether it’s five people or five thousand, action in the streets sends a message that cannot be ignored. 📍 Find local actions: Check social media, community groups, and activist organizations for upcoming protests.

3. Support the Fighters

Movements need fuel. Donate if you can, amplify if you can’t. There are organizations on the ground fighting for reproductive rights, racial justice, and democracy—help them keep going. Also, a percentage of anything you buy in our shop will be donated.

4. Educate Yourself & Others

Change starts at dinner tables, in group chats, and in workplaces. Have the hard conversations. Push back against misinformation. Don’t let ignorance slide.

5. Vote Like Everything Depends on It (Because It Does)

Elections aren’t just about presidents. Local and state elections impact your daily life more than you realize. Register, research, and show up. Then, make sure everyone around you does the same.

The Future We’re Fighting For

We’re not just resisting—we’re building. A future where our kids and grandkids don’t have to fight these same battles. A future where equality isn’t up for debate. A future where resistance isn’t necessary—because justice has won.
